Busuu

Adding a feature to increase memory and learning absorption for language learners, and retain users.

As a teacher, I taught with Empathy and Simplification. As a product designer I solve problems the same way.

In 2020  I was teaching young students in Spain. Then March hit, and suddenly I found myself teaching remotely from home in Montreal. Navigating the sudden shift to remote teaching, I discovered my knack for crafting digital presentations and lessons. This newfound passion led me to create my first website, offering English learners a space for educational games and practice.

Through this experience I realized two things:

  1. I'm good at this!

  2. It's not entirely new to me.

As a teacher, my daily lesson plans were crafted with empathy, considering each student's unique needs. Now, as a Product Designer, I leverage my educational background to approach challenges with a deep desire for knowledge and helping people live their best lives by making their everyday lives easier with simplicity.
